What is a Mini Markt and how is it different from Christkindlmarkt?
The Heurich House Museum's Christkindlmarkt takes place Friday, December 1 through Sunday, December 3 in our Castle Garden, and the event mimics a traditional German outdoor holiday market. Visitors to Christkindlmarkt can also tour the museum which is decorated for the season. In an effort to extend the holiday spirit and feature more local makers and artists this year, the museum is also holding smaller weekly markets on the Fridays following Christkindlmarkt leading up to Christmas (December 8, 15 & 22 from 5-8pm). Mini Markts will take place completely inside the museum and will feature a hand-picked selection of local makers, all revolving around a theme for that week. The themes this year are: Deck the Halls, Wrap the Children's Gifts, and Set the Table.
What does my Mini Markt ticket include?
A Mini Markt ticket allows you to enter the Heurich House Museum where you can visit the market and tour the seasonally decorated museum anytime from 5-8pm . The ticket is only good for the one specific date for which it was issued, and cannot be used at another Mini Markt during a different week.
How can I buy tickets to the Mini Markts?
You can purchase your tickets for Mini Markts by clicking on the link above. After 12pm on the date of each Mini Markt, tickets will be sold at the door only. The museum accepts payment by cash and all major credit cards.
